Jiu-Jitsu for your everyday life.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a grappling martial art built around positioning, control, and technique. In Gi training, you learn to work with the traditional uniform while developing a deeper understanding of movement and leverage.

  • Learn and refine fundamental positions, transitions and escapes.
  • Build your technical understanding through consistent practice.
  • Train for personal progress, self-defense interests, or competition goals.
  • Connect with a community of students at different experience levels.

A clear place to begin.

You don’t need to arrive with a belt, a competition goal, or previous martial arts experience. Tell the team where you’re starting and they’ll help you find an appropriate class. Ask about uniforms and registration before your first visit.

Before your first class

Questions are
a good place to start.

Do I need Jiu-Jitsu experience?

No. The academy welcomes beginners as well as experienced students. Tell us you’re new when you inquire so the team can help you choose a suitable class.

What is the difference between Gi and No-Gi?

Gi classes use the traditional Jiu-Jitsu uniform, including grips on the jacket and pants. No-Gi training uses athletic grappling clothing and relies on grips on the body. Both develop control, technique, and problem-solving on the mat.

Can I inquire for my child?

Yes. Choose Kids Jiu-Jitsu on the inquiry form. A parent or guardian should submit the inquiry; the team will help confirm the appropriate class and age group.

What should I bring to my first visit?

Contact the academy before visiting to confirm your class, the appropriate clothing or uniform, and any registration requirements. Bring water and let the instructor know your training experience.

Where is the new academy?
